God is able to provide all you need, and He knows better than you what that encompasses, so approach Him with the desires of your heart

Today’s Scripture

One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord

all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.

—Psalm 27:4, NKJV

Make sure you don’t take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship—a different kind of “sacrifice”— that take place in the kitchen and workplace and on the streets.

—Hebrews 13:16, MSG

Ask, and you will be given what you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks, receives. Anyone who seeks, finds. If only you will knock, the door will open.

Prayer + Reflection

God invites us to come to Him, to know Him and to delight in His presence. He is our Daily Bread. Take some time right now to let God fill you with His presence.

God is the giver of all good things. Take a moment to thank Him, then ask for those things you

(or someone you love) need that only He can provide.

Pray for God to direct you to someone who needs His generosity, and to reveal to you what to share with them.

Personal Moment

Make two lists: one of all God has blessed you with, and one of people with whom you can share your blessings. Let’s pray: “God, You supply for our every need and have been faithful, thank You. Help me to share with others. Amen.”
